Terms and Conditions

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: All deposits count toward tuition and are nonrefundable unless Seven Summits Adventures denies your application. Cancellations made 121 days or more before the starting date for expeditions, and 61 days or more for courses, will be refunded the amount of the balance paid beyond the deposit. Cancellations made within 120 days of the starting date for expeditions or 60 days of the starting date for courses will receive no refund. All custom program tuition is non-refundable.

If tuition payment is not made by the due date, the participant will be canceled from the program without refund. Unless, prior to the due date, the participant and Seven Summits Adventures have agreed upon a written alternate payment plan.

Seven Summits Adventures reserve the right to change scheduled guides or instructors or a course location; in this event there are no refunds. Seven Summit Adventures reserves the right to cancel a course or expedition; in this unlikely event, paid deposit and balance will be refunded in full. Seven Summits Adventures is not responsible for any associated personal costs resulting from changes or cancellations.

We strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance be purchased immediately upon paying your deposit.

TRANSFERS: If the participant wishes to be transferred to another scheduled expedition or course, the request must be made 120 days prior to the start date of the original expedition, or 60 days prior to the start date of the original course; if the transfer is approved, there is a $100 transfer fee due on the tuition due date. Transfers within 120 days will incur an additional $100 increase for every 30 days past the original tuition due date.

BE ADVISED: For any delay in delivering all necessary documents or information needed to start your expedition or trip, $ 200 fast track fee is due. Additional fee may apply if the participant is not collaborating in finalising the pre- administrative work. SSA reserves the right to cancel a person participation in case of non-collaboration. SSA reserves the right to refuse a person participation on any program if we find that person to be mentally or physically unprepared. During a course or expedition, SSA reserves the right to require a person to leave if by the instructor’s or guide’s judgment she or he believes the person to be unfit to continue. In these cases, there will be no refund of any kind. If the weather or other factors make completing the climbing objective impossible there will be no refund. In the case of the participant’s need for a rescue, or the participant leaves the program before completion, the participant is responsible for any expenses incurred. SSA is not responsible for unexpected expenses over which it has no control.

Through signing up for a class or a course you agree that you have read, understood, and accepted the terms and conditions stated above and acknowledged that this agreement shall be effective and binding upon the parties during the entire period of participation.
