The Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB) is one of the most beautiful long distance hikes in the world. During this tour, which will cover nearly 170 total kilometres, you will circle the Mont Blanc massif. We will cross charming Italian, French and Swiss villages. You will enjoy amazing views of the surrounding peaks, immense glaciers and beautiful mountain lakes. To join this unforgettable hike, you should be in good physical condition. You will be walking from 15 to 20 kilometres per day. In some days you will ascent up to 1.000 meters per day as well.Enquire now!
Pick up at Geneva airport, transfer to hotel in Les Houches, a small village next to Chamonix . Gear check.
Take the cable car up to the Bellevue top station and head to the Col de Tricot. Hike to Refuge Miage at 1.560 m. 4-5 hours.
Leave the environment of the Miage glaciers going back down to Contamines-Monjoie. You will walk above the balcons above the village, on a roman path to reach the Contamines refuge. 6 hours.
We walk to the Notre Dame de la Gorge church and climb up to the Col du Bonhomme. After lunch and a break in the Refuge Col de la Croix du Bonhomme, descend back to the refuge. 6 hours.
Walk along the river on a nice and easy path and climb up to the Col de la Seigne which is the French-Italian border at 2516 meters above sea level and also the highest point of the day. Descend 400 m. to the italian side and Refugio Elisabetta Soldini. Optional: A short walk to a natural glacier cave close to the hut. 7 hours.
When hiking from the Refugio Elisabetta Soldini to Courmayeur, you will enjoy one of the most stunning views of the Alps. When having lunch at Col Chécruit you can enjoy watching some ambitious mountaineers climbing the south side of Mont Blanc. After a visit of the beautiful village of Courmayeur, you walk up to Bonatti Refuge. 6 hours.
Walk up to the small Ferret pass (if conditions allow) to reach the Fouly hamlet, in Switzerland. Transfer to Champex for the night. 6 hours.
Walk up the beautiful valley that ends at the Arpette fenêtre. Enjoy wonderful views of the glaciers to the Trient village. Back to Champex. 7 hours.
Return to France by the Balme pass and reach the French side of Mont Blanc. Descend to Argentière. Night in Hotel. 5-6 hours. Team dinner.
After a reach breakfast at hotel, transfer to Geneva airport.
